The Oldest Form of Martial Arts

Known as "the mother of all martial arts," Kalaripayattu is said to have originated from the Dhanurveda, a scientific treatise on the art of warfare in ancient Bharat (India).

Practicing Kalaripayattu increases one’s flexibility and agility, strengthens the muscles and tendons by exercising the body without the need for any equipment.

  2. Fits
  3. Stroke 
  4. Angina 
  5. Heart attack

  7. Musculoskeletal issues (pain and swelling of joints, bone, cartilage, ligament, tendon) 
  8. Uncontrolled bleeding of any kind
  9. Chronic fatigue
  10. Uncontrolled diabetes
  11. Uncontrolled hypertension
  12. Active glaucoma
  13. Retina problems
  14. Severe nutritional deficiencies
  15. Active rheumatological problem
  16. Hernia
  17. Major surgery in past 6 months
  18. Minor surgery in the past 3 months
  19. COVID-19 infection within past 3 weeks
  20. Any active post COVID-19 symptoms
  21. Body Mass Index (BMI) is above 30
